Why are you a Dragonslayer? In 2009, a young patient named Ava Rose designated Dr. Conrad, the foundation founder, as the #1 Dragon Slayer. That year, the organization adopted the name Dragonslayer as the new name for their annual fundraising event. How this breaks down: Cancer = Dragon and Care team/Patients/Survivors/Families = Slayer, so each of you are a Dragonslayer! We hope you will begin to identify with our Dragonslayer name and unite with us in our efforts to continue to slay that dragon. Our dragon tail yellow ribbon represents each of our patients and survivors as they work towards slaying the dragon. #DragonslayersUnite
