Fred Hutch Cancer Center hosted a free, virtual patient education for patients with Sarcoma and their caregivers, in partnership with the Northwest Sarcoma Foundation and SFA.

During the event, providers will talk about:

  • Recent advances in systemic therapy for sarcoma, including updates on
    immunotherapy.

  • New interventional radiology local therapies, such as cryotherapy.
    Advances in radiation therapy, including hypofractionation and
    stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT).

  • Physical therapy for sarcoma, including information on managing
    lymphedema.

  • Evidence-based integrative oncology approaches, such as nutrition,
    physical therapy, acupuncture and other supportive therapies.
