ONE-ON-ONE SUPPORT
Northwest Sarcoma Foundation is excited to partner with Imerman Angels to provide free one-on-one support to previvors, patients, survivors and caregivers.
To be a partner, we need patients, caregivers, survivors and/or previvors (positive genetic testing for predisposition to certain cancers/diseases) to register with Imerman Angels as a representative from NWSF. Please consider joining their efforts and ours to help mentor others on their path through Sarcoma by registering with Imerman Angels. This will help ensure no one faces Sarcoma alone.
Imerman Angels was created on the belief that no one should face cancer alone. Through a unique matching process, we partner anyone touched by cancer with someone just like them: a “Mentor Angel”. A Mentor Angel is a cancer survivor, previvor or caregiver who has faced the same type of cancer. The service is free to anyone touched by any cancer, any stage, any age, any gender, anywhere in the world.
Imerman Angels has over 250 active Sarcoma Mentor Angels and 50 Caregiver Mentor Angels. Since 2011, over 180 Sarcoma fighters and 80 caregivers have been helped through their free one-on-one cancer support services.
