I'M STILL HERE--3 years later

My name is Tonja. In August of 2019, I had an epithelioid sarcoma tumor behind my knee. I got it removed and then needed to have 7 weeks of radiation. My home was 80 miles from the hospital at that time. The foundation gave me a check to help with the costs of transportation. In January of 2020, we found the cancer had set up home in the lining of my lungs. I was deemed terminal but in March of 2020, I went on an experimental treatment and I'm still here, 3 years later. The foundation helped when I had to move closer to medical facilities. I'm so grateful that the foundation continuous

to provide support.
