Development Coordinator

JOB TYPE: Part-time staff position 

​

HOURS OF WORK: 20 hours per week 

​

COMPENSATION: $20.00 per hour, Prorated PTO and sick 

*Grant supported position; salary non-negotiable.

LOCATION: Remote – must reside within Pacific Northwest (AK, ID, MT, OR, or WA)

JOB OVERVIEW: Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Salesforce and Classy databases which support the Northwest Sarcoma Foundation’s donor relations management. This position will play an active role in the complex project of software implementations and upgrades as a business/technical collaborator, subject matter resource, and task/assignment resource. This position will build out donor campaigns and events. It will be required to collaborate with leadership team to develop strategies for outreach to donors and event participants.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Executive Director

PREREQUISITES: 

Minimum of two-years college experience in Data Management, Event Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Analytics, or related field is required, OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.  

Experience in Marketing-Communications highly preferred.  

Any certifications related to CRM software application and technology infrastructure. 

Experience using Salesforce and/or Classy CRM databases. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Ability to work independently and in teams with good problem solving, communication, and organizational skills. 

Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, learn quickly with strong attention to detail. 

Demonstrate strong organization, time management, and project management. 

Proven record of communications and organization skills. 

Microsoft Office and CRM proficiency is required. Experience with Salesforce, Classy, and social media outreach preferred.  

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Accesses, merges, and cleans data from existing systems, inputs/uploads data into Salesforce and Classy, creates and produces complex, formatted reports for output files. 

Performs project management work to include current and proposed information flow, detailed system specifications, procedure writing, Salesforce programming, and testing. 

Prepares and performs detailed work plans and target dates for all projects. 

Test changes comprehensively so fixes are minimal; review all work for accuracy before final submission. 

Condenses and refines project development files into comprehensive documentation. 

Promptly notifies manager of problems, unexpected tasks and missed targets. 

Responds to all requests in a timely manner.  

Provide manager with a weekly summary of activity and tasks. 

Understands relationships between system processes/programs, system parameters, files and data relationships across platforms. 

Performs end-user functions for assigned products. 

Develop interfaces that are user-friendly for staff, donors, and event participants.  

Ensures that reports, data, and devices are appropriately accessed. 

EXPERIENCE: 

Salesforce, Classy, or similar CRM database experience: 2 years. (Required) 

Event Marketing and social media outreach experience. (Preferred) 

Progressive IT data services: 3 years. (Preferred) 

RESIDE: 

Must reside within Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington State. (Required)
