A message from Chappie Conrad, Past President "Please consider supporting the Northwest Sarcoma Foundation as your support for your friends of loved ones with sarcomas. Our sarcoma patients desperately need your support. The greatest way to offset the political-health disadvantage of having a sarcoma is by coming to local events to support our cause. Your friends, family, and sarcoma patients everywhere will benefit from your efforts." All proceeds from these events go directly to The Northwest Sarcoma Foundation to support programs of awareness, research, patient advocacy and education, and financial assistance to patients. To be successful, these events depend upon support from individuals, area businesses and organizations. Thank you for your support and consideration of our foundation and sarcoma.

DRAGONSLAYER Bike, Hike, or Trike

The DRAGONSLAYER Bike, Hike and Trike event is held in the Spring each year both in Seattle and Portland to help raise awareness and support for sarcoma patients and their families. This event honors those who have lost their lives to sarcoma cancers and those who have won the fight.
A young cancer patient coined the phrase “DRAGONSLAYER” to give a name to his fight against sarcoma. It is our goal to win this fight! Our event raises money for advocacy and education about sarcoma as well as for sarcoma research and also benefits our HELP$ program, a need based financial assistance program supporting adult patients currently undergoing treatment.
Thank you to our past sponsors of the DRAGONSLAYER Events

Jackson's Ride The Gorge

The 5th Annual Jackson's Ride the Gorge was held on August 7, 2010, in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge with over 300 riders participating in this year's event.
It is in tribute to Jackson Hill, and the joy he found in cycling even while battling sarcoma, that Jackson's Ride the Gorge was founded in 2006. This ride has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to bring awareness of the Northwest Sarcoma Foundation and their efforts to support sarcoma research, patient advocacy and education.
