THE CAUSE
It is in tribute to Jackson, and the joy he found in cycling even while battling his illness, that Jackson's Ride the Gorge was founded in 2006. This ride has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to bring awareness of the Northwest Sarcoma Foundation and their efforts to support sarcoma research, patient advocacy and education. In honor of Jackson's love of sport, and to raise money in his name, funds from Jackson's Ride the Gorge will be donated to the Northwest Sarcoma Foundation with the hope that their work will help children and families in their own battles against cancer.

Over 250 people participated in the walk and played a part in helping raise $10,144.44, which was presented to Dr. "Chappie" Conrad and the Northwest Sarcoma Foundation at the DRAGONSLAYER event. Thank you Team Pretty in Pink for this amazing fundraising effort!

Team Jenna took home the Largest Team Award, and Team Sawicki received the Spirit Award.

Again, thanks to all who took part in this fabulous event. Each and every one of you were responsible for helping to make it a success. We will look forward to seeing you again at the Seattle Dragonslayer 2011!
